Growing up in Rome, bread isn’t just thrown on the table, it’s an integral part of each meal, complementing each course as the foundation. It starts the meal; its part of the main course and often it is a sweet or savoury finale. There is never meat, fish or a first course that does not have complementary bread to enhance its taste.
It’s this significance that makes the Fornaio (Baker) an important role in our culture. In North America, some breads are called artisan, where we are from, the Fornaio is considered a sculptor and the breads are his artistry. The flour, water, yeast, oven, air, water, cooking temperature, technique, hands and body positioning of the baker all contribute to subtle complexities altering the final construction of their work.
They say Italy is the country of one thousand cities and every one of them has a bread named in its honour. We invite you to experience our version of rustic Rome.

Our Roman Style Pizzas start with the proprietary base from our bakery, made fresh each morning, which reminds many of flatbread. Our pizza makers take the best ingredients (cured meats, fine cheeses, fresh vegetables, our rustic tomato sauce and more) to prepare delicious pizzas with great flavour. Every time the door to our oven opens, there is a new creation ready to amaze your palate.
Our pizzas are good for 3-5 people and can be split into different types from the same category. Beware; we never put fruit on our Roman Style pizza, especially pineapple…
