The Freshest Bar Around

Sciué is known for the delicious innovation around its menu offerings; after all, we have an extensive Bar Caffé from our own line of direct trade organic coffee. The most exciting and innovative part of Sciué has to be our Pane Romano Bar.
Pane Romano is our Roman Style Pizza.
It starts in the morning with our baking team creating the dough, which forms the thin, gragarent base of the Pane Romano Pizza.
By late morning our Pane Romano station is lined up with spectators waiting to selecting with their eyes, the rectangular slice of their dreams. We serve two types of Pane Romano pizza daily, fresh from the oven creations and the cold ones. In front of these lined up spectators, our team preps the Pane Romano with a selection of premium meats and cheeses, fresh vegetables and herbs, spices and a selection of sauces. Once completed, the pizzas are pulled from the oven and displayed proudly on the butcher block, next to the cold collection (smoked salmon) for your eyes to devour.
Pane Romano is sold by the weight. There is no minimum size and you’re always welcome to order a full pizza. You’re free to mix and match slices from our selection to your liking.
For parties and events it gets better. We have our Enoteca Bar and our Pane Romano Bar always available. The most popular request we get for events it to keep the Pane Romano bar open all night. This provides a fantastic backdrop for the event that results in fresh creations coming straight from the oven, sliced up into small squares and circulated by our serving team. It doesn’t get much better then that.
To top it off, if your group wants to create something unique, all they’ll need to do is get the attention of the baker and tell them what they want. Remember the baker will be out in the open, making the fresh Pane Romano creation before their eyes.
Ciao a Tutti!

Buongiorno
Our kitchen is creating new feature dishes daily for your tasting pleasure that we think you need to experience.
Feature Panino - We have a daily feature to complement our usual suspects (aka, the Sciué Panino line-up) that we know will catch your eye. For example, we feature the Panino Con Porchetta which has tender, flavourful Porchetta with Dijon, roasted tomatoes and radicchio in an oven fresh panino bun (porchetta is specially prepared pork roast that has a key place in Italian culinary tradition).
Rotating Pasta Offering - Classic. Simple. Delicious. Our kitchen wanted to develop a daily pasta offering that was unsophisticated, delivered a punch of flavour and was priced extremely attractive. Meet our daily rotating pasta offering. Sciué takes a basic pasta, and dresses it up with adult flavours. Just look at our Spaghetti Puttanesca. Its the classic Spaghetti noodle, topped with a spicy tomato sauce, capers, black olives, anchovies, fresh cracked black pepper and sea salt. We serve it with fresh from the oven bread and all we ask in return is $7.
Want to elevate the dish with a homemade meatball, just ask a Sciué employee if there are any available.
Gourmet Pasta Creation - Fresh. Complex. Exceptional. Our kitchen team takes an Italian classic to another level. For example, Sciué takes Gnocchi, creates a from-scratch delicious Al Pomodoro sauce and delivers it to you with Oven Fresh Bread for $9.50.
Piatto Forte of the Day - Daily creation. Roman Inspired. Always made with Passion. Our Piatto Forte of the Day is a tribute to the flavours of Rome. The Piatto Forte is the traditional main course served with fresh baked bread and usually accompanied by your choice of side. Favourites include Chicken Cutlet, Meatloaf and Veal Stew. You’ve never had stew until you’ve had our Veal Stew. We take tender chunks of veal, and combine with a savoury tomato based base, fresh bell peppers, mushrooms and zucchini. Our Piatto Forte offerings are $10.50.
And of course……
We’d be remiss if we didn’t include our Lasagna Della Mamma. A base of fresh Pasta, Parmigiano and Bechamel are accompanied by daily variations to create new interpretations of this timeless favourite. Meat and Vegetable versions are available daily. Our Lasagna Della Mamma is $9.50 every day, comes with fresh baked bread and will be better then that of your childhood memories.
Ciao!
Sparkling Prosecco Flows at Sciué

Sciué is constantly innovating, creating and trying new ideas. From our Enoteca selection, serving Prosecco was nothing new for, but serving it draught instead of from the bottle was.
Now that we’ve started, we can’t stop and with the intrgiue around Prosecco in Vancouver, we haven’t stopped pouring.
In North America we’re accustomed to seeing wine aged in barrels, but you’ll almost never see it poured from kegs. Turns out kegs aren’t just for beer anymore. In Italy, Draught Prosecco is poured from kegs all over the country.
Montelvini Prosecco is available on tap at all 3 Sciué locations for $5 per glass.
Prosecco
Prosecco is a sparkling (white) wine produced from the the glera (commonly referred to as “Prosecco) grapes in the Veneto region of Italy. While Champagne from neighbouring France is appreciated at special occasions for its rich taste and heavy aromas, Italian Prosecco is enjoyed on a regular basis with its fresh, light, crisp taste.
Prosecco is straw yellow coloured. Its fragrance is fruity and delicate bringing to mind yellow apple, pear, white peach and apricot. Its taste is crisp and refreshing. Prosecco is the perfect summer drink but offers enough to be enjoyed all year round.
Draught Prosecco
Curious about How it Works. The Globe and Mail provides the following breakdown:
The prosecco-filled KeyKeg requires quite a bit of tweaking for optimal carbonization and taste. It’s a different type of bag-in-ball system that uses an inert plastic bag inside a hard-shelled ball, which is hooked up to an argon-gas or carbon-dioxide tank. The gas does not add bubble; it simply exerts pressure on the outside of the ball, compressing the bladder and pushing the wine - fresh, crisp and sparkling - out the spout.
Prosecco on tap is as good for the planet as it is for the palate. Keg packaging significantly reduces waste (and cost) by eliminating the need for bottles, labels, corks and cases. KeyKegs, although not reusable, are 100-per-cent recyclable. The ball, bag, box and valve all break down to a small handful that can be tossed right into a blue bin.
Savour the summer with a glass today.

Sciué is developing a kiosk in the lobby of 885 West Georgia Street, at the corner of Georgia and Howe. 885 West Georgia is the HSBC Building and is home to the Atrium art gallery, which features the famous swinging Pendulum.
The Sciué kiosk at 885 West Georgia will feature our full service of offerings including breakfast, lunch and artisan espresso drinks. We will be investigating our ability to get a liquor license through the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch.
Our kiosk will focus on providing catering and ordering services to the nearby offices, organization and Sciué followers. Furthermore, we plan on hosting events using the atrium gallery as the perfect back drop for networking events, fundraising events and corporate functions alike.
We look forward to providing the Roman food and drink experience for the benefit of 885 West Georgia and the People of Downtown Vancouver.
